Anesthetic Gases Scavenging Systems (AGSS)

Dispersion of anesthetic N2O gas in the vicinity of the patient, through leakage from the mask or the anesthesia machine, has long been a nuisance for the surgery team (causing headache, nausea etc.); On the other hand, N2O gas cannot be vented through conventional suction ports for the matter of the combustible mixture that it can make with coolant oil in vacuum pumps.
